CMR & Oxfam Feature on ITN Lunchtime News
National ITN news (4th January 2006) featured Corporate Mobile Recycling with their mobile recycling partners, Oxfam. The 1 minute 40 second live ‘walkabout’ and interviews with Olly Tagg (CMR) and Liz Whiteley (Oxfam) took place at CMR’s Head Office in Holborn, London.
The story focused on how the UK as a whole needs to increase it’s recycling effort. CMR was used as an example of good practice, outlining how they recycle 50,000 mobile phones a month saving 600,000 handsets per annum from landfill.
